Doreen was a part of the feared, unpredictable group of seedlings known as the Warguard. She was clearly the most junior member of the team as she possessed a very childish personality, constantly speaking the phrase "Let me touch...". This was due to the apparent fact that Doreen's power to shorten nerves in any and every life form, required her to make physical contact. This was a somewhat dangerous power for a young individual as Doreen, however it still did not make her one of the most lethal members in the Warguard.
It is not fully explained just why exactly she was cryogenically incarcerated with the Warguard, or even when she first joined or was accepted by the team. She was first mentioned by Battalion as being a "seeming innocent", during his first attempt to destroy the Warguard in their cryo tubes[1].
Doreen later reappeared during the Despot crisis in which she took part in an ambush on StormWatch while at a moon base[2].
Her last appearance was during the all-out, "last stand" battle between StormWatch and the Warguard on Earth after the climatic crash of the Skywatch space station[3]. She then shorted the nerves in Synergy's arm after she punched her in their fight, before being fatally struck down by a blast from StormWatch member Winter[4].
