I am at work at the moment and it took me a little longer than I expected. Can you send me the link to the other wiki, so I can check it out? I do not think merging is the correct word to use, since it will be adding information for one of the realities here on Image, we are about many other "realities." I think Una is not answering because he is thinking about this. I would suggest putting them off for a short while, as I think you said everything is on a 6-month count down to deletion.

While it's true that their site won't shut down for at least 5 months, at most a year, I'm worried that I won't have enough time to help them move everything in that time frame. I got college stuff that's taking up my time too. So I could stall for a little bit, but I don't want to lose anything they have.
Sorry, was out of town again until now. If Una trusts them he will, BUT, he doesn't know them, so they will need to make their intentions clear. I didn't offer me moderator until he saw my work here and knew what to expect from me. The same went for you, you were here a while before getting bumped up to moderator. I don't think there are other admins here but him.
Fair, but he can probably see their work on their wikispaces site, it has page histories like wikis do. Also... two of them have actually worked on Savage Dragon issues before... and one is Erik Larsen himself. I'd think to give them admin positions immediately if they asked for it, but you're right it's Una's decision.
Also, filling out that template will fill out the illustrator and colourists info too. So checking out Rob Guillory you can see all the images he's penciled or inked etc when their template is filled out.

Hey I was wondering if you wanted to help out with a project. I wanna make a second wikia account. Do you wanna help me make it? As in the name, pic, personal info which we'll completely make up, etc? I'm gonna do it anyway and I thought it'd be fun if you could do it with me and even share the account if ya want.
I was thinking actually for it to just be an overall second account for any wikia. I probably won't use it on Image because I already have this admin account on here. But on, say Marvel wiki, we could just run a second one for shirts and giggles, y'know? Any ideas for it? It's just like inventing a new person or something!
Well yeah if you wanted we could do more than one, but I guess I didn't make myself clear my bad bro. I was calling it Ben 2.0 cuz I wanted to make a new account, like to use in addition to Ben1,000,whatever. And I wanted to know if you wanted to help design it and use it if you wanted. But we can make a ton of extra accounts if you want man.
Hey question: should we make new pages for characters from the Walking Dead TV show? Currently the characters from the comics are being used in the show, which could be okay if we have multiversal counterparts for almost everyone (not counting the weird Switch stuff).
That's a very good question and my opinion would be to have a whole new set of characters as (in most cases) television show writers have a tendency to alter existing characters in order make their plots work. Also merging minor characters together happens a lot also.
Unless Una wants it another way, that is my best suggestion.
Sorry about that. I thought that the new guy was entering that information. Get him to help you. It will encourage him to be independent and take ownership of his work.
I would suggest that you go through and rename the characters to the new names so that he doesn't make bad edits to existing comic book characters.
When editing (or creating a new character) you will notice in the upper right hand corner are two white tabs. One is called Source and the other is Visual. Click on the Source tab and you will see a whole row of tabs that do different things.
If you hover over each one of them, it will tell you what they do.
One of them in the middle that looks like a little person with brown hair and a blue shirt if the Character Template that you were looking for before.

We have lots of images in our database, 7,030 in fact, and in order to keep them organized we use a system of naming, categories and licensing added to each.
Please review our Naming Conventions for Images. Images are categorized by name, so a descriptive name rather than a string of numbers is important.
As a guide, look what other images in a character's gallery are called, and continue with the same name and number. If you upload a first image of a character, use "[Name] [Universe] 001". We didn't always use Universe, so it's best to stay consistent with what existing characters use in your character line. Example: Spawn characters do not have a universe like "Al Simmons", while Chew does use a universe like "Anthony Chu (Chew)".
Issue covers should be given at least the title of the series, the volume and the number. A name similar to the issue is preferred: "Title Vol 1 1". Textless covers should be called "Title Vol 1 1 Textless". Files that do not indicate the issue number will be deleted.
Images should be no less than 300px wide, unless no bigger image is available.
Add the Image Template to the images you upload. This is mandatory. Fill it in as detailed here, or below.
Selecting the proper license is vital to properly maintaining our images. Please choose the license which best describes the image you are uploading. The most commonly used are 'Comic Single Panel' and 'Comic Cover', respectively.
Other fields that should be filled in: Issue, Subject1, Artist. Add Source if you've taken it from a different site. If you've taken it from a different site and don't know the issue, DO NOT UPLOAD IT.
You're doing great and I would love to help you learn. I have recently had my first kid and find myself with little time to work on things, unfortunately. We need someone with a passion for Image to help take on editing or even over administration and I would love to help train those that can help carry the torch on.
Usually all the buttons for the templates are above the page in edit mode. So clicking edit on any page will show you what templates are available (for the most part). There is one for images if you click it. It's also proposed when you upload an image via "Contribute -> Add a Photo" on the upper right hand side of the screen.
I'd rather not give it up as I'd love to get back to reading Image. Unfortunately my tablet broke and that's the only way I can read them. I also had a kid so most of my free time has been absorbed by changing diapers and bottle feeding.
So while I don't need to go anywhere, I obviously haven't been able to help as much as I want. Brian is around too but he's taking a break from Image, he can answer questions too. So we can help you or anyone else that would have the passion to learn. You're welcome to ask as many questions as you want, just be aware the time intensive ones may not get answered just due to time right now. There's no commitment for required edits or anything like that, it's really just those who really want to improve image comic knowledge for others. No pressure.
