In the Wildstorm universe the United Nations (UN) has taken an active role in monitoring and dealing with posthumans and, to this end, formed both the superpowered StormWatch and the largely unenhanced Stormwatch: Team Achilles. The on-and-off leader Jackson King is often portrayed in the UN buildings in New York and when he walks out and forms The Monarchy the UN assign special agent Morro to monitor his activities.
